Sometimes, all that is left is what rises from the literal ashes.
According to signage, this is what’s left of a historic building in Truckee, California: “Erected on the entrance of the old Masonic Building in 1909, destroyed in a gas explosion in 1993.”
The Arch now resides in the community garden behind the Old Truckee Jail, where it was moved in 2007.
Mondays are hard, but we can make it. Be The Arch, y’all.
