You may or may not know this, but my mom is a longtime print journalist, so she really enjoys researching these houses. Like, REALLLLY enjoys it. 🤓

So it bums her out to find a gorgeous old house and not be able to dig anything up on it, which has been the case with several she saw recently while visiting Sacramento, California.

However, she still wants to share them because everyone needs some eye candy. So, here’s a lovely 1882-built house in Midtown that is on the Sacramento Register of Historic and Cultural Resources.

And we’re also pretty smitten with that fluer-de-lis detail on the top of the fencing.
