The Lord Mansion in Kennebunk, Maine, is a sprawling building, with a 1760 Georgian facade and an 1801 Federal style House facing a different street.
Jonathan Banks built the first part of the house in 1760, and sold it in 1789 to Jonas Clark, a local judge who built the Federal structure you see on the left.

In 1822, shipbuilder William Lord bought the house and it has remained in his family.
According to the town assessor database, the 7,600+ square foot palace sits upon 3.5 acres. It has six bedrooms, five bathrooms, two half baths and six fireplaces.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973 and a contributor to Kennebunk’s Historic District.
