The massive and exquisite George Wise House in Kennebunk, Maine, now serves as Bibber Memorial Chapel, a family funeral home.

After he and his wife died, the 1868 home was passed down and/or sold several times.

In 1949, Willard A. Dean was the owner and built a guest house, which he called The Willard.

A one story addition was added to the back ell, but the home remains largely the same as when the Bibbers acquired it in 1956.

Fireplaces, silver door hinges, black paneled front vestibule, and front stairway are all intact.
