Dr. Sherman C. Baldwin, a doctor and surgeon in San Francisco, was the original owner of this amazingly detailed house in Alameda, California.

Eventually, the house was inherited by Baldwin’s great-nephew, George Pell.

It was built in 1889 for $3,000.

The home was purchased by Ken and Connie Corvalho in the 1990s. Ken is an estimator with Baldwin Construction.
