One of the most ornate buildings in downtown Truckee, California, Cabona’s is the oldest retail establishment on Commercial Row. Founded in 1918, David Cabona originally sold fishing tackle, appliances and general merchandise, while the eastern side of the building housed a coffee shop.

As Truckee grew, people wanted more fashionable attire, so the store turned into a clothier and remains so today, focusing on casual sportswear.
