Thompson-Blair House

If you’re a fan of law and order, this is a house for you! This Placerville, California, home was built in 1850 by John Blair.

In 1890, James Madison Anderson, one-time Sheriff of El Dorado County, moved his family here. Anderson’s daughter, Gertrude inherited the house after her parents died.

Gertrude and her husband extensively remodeled the home’s interior, leaving the outside intact.

Later on, the home was owned by attorney George H. Thompson, who later became a judge. It now serves as a law office.
