This building in historic downtown Folsom, California was built in 1872. The home of Brown’s Hardware, it had a wine cellar in the basement managed by B.N. Bugbey, superintendent of Natoma Winery.

In the early 1900s, the Folsom Bakery occupied the space, followed by J. Norton’s Pioneer Bakery and Notion store.
For years, it operated as a stage shop, then served passengers from the Greyhound Bus Station. Passengers had refreshments from the Golden Glo Cafe in 1936 and later, Agostini’s Restaurant.
Currently, it is a clothing boutique.
