Let’s just skip right over the unfortunate name of the Mohrdick House, and get straight to how amazingly gorgeous and detailed it is.

This beauty overlooks Alamo Square Park in San Francisco, and has views of downtown, Postcard Row and Pacific Heights.
We came across a real estate listing from 2013, which said the 3800+ square foot home has five bedrooms, five bathrooms and a finished attic space that includes a soundproof room (which was filled with musical instruments in photos). It sold that year for $2.55 million, but is likely worth almost twice that much now.

Its namesake, Martin Mohrdick (1856-1925), was born in Schlesweg-Holstein, Germany, and migrated to the United States when he was 19.
Martin, along with his wife, four children and a border, lived here for 16 years. Their descendants still live in the Bay Area.
