Built in 1894, this was one of the first residences built on Winthrop Road in Lexington, Mass. Its original owner, Walter Champney, was a tea broker in Boston.
Not much other history to dig up here, but we’re guessing Champney threw a helluva tea party.

With six bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, it has 3100+ square feet. According to town records, it appears to have been in the same family since at least 1961. It is assessed at $1.36 million dollars.
