Walter Wheeler Rowse House

Built in 1895 by Walter Wheeler Rowse, this house was one of the first homes to be built on Winthrop Road in Lexington, Mass.

Rowse was in the dye stuffs and chemicals business in Boston.

With six bedrooms and five bathrooms, it has nearly 2900 square feet. It last sold in 1996 for $637,000. It is currently assessed at $1.641 million.
