Located in the Battle Road Unit of Minute Man National Historical Park, the Noah Brooks Tavern is in an area known as Brooks Village. Three other Brooks houses are within a quarter mile of each other.

Built around 1798, the home was located on well-traveled road, so Noah Brooks also decided to make a tavern of it. Which honestly seems like a pretty fun idea if you can get away with it. Wonder if that was the beginnings of the cliche drunk guy crashing on your couch?
Anyhow, a large barn resides out back, and a gigantic herd of cattle with the biggest horns we’ve ever seen live in the field alongside the property. They weren’t close enough for a picture, but we’re pretty sure we may have a panic attack if we got close to them anyway. They are incredibly enormous.
