Robert Minor House

Happy Valentine’s Day from the loveliest pink Colonial Revival in Alameda, California.

This beauty was built in 1904 for Robert Minor, a San Francisco stevedore. Don’t know what a stevedore is? We didn’t either, so we looked it up. It’s a fancy way of saying a dockworker, or someone who loads and unloads ships.

Its architects were Cunningham and Politico, and it cost $8,500 to build.

According to Zillow, it has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and nearly 4,300 square feet.
