Old Tonini House

Built in 1872 in Truckee, California, this house belonged to Robert Tonini, who was instrumental in helping build the nearby ski runs, roads and trails at Northstar. He also helped with the snowmaking system as well as its golf course.

According to a story in the Sierra Sun, he was remembered by family and friends as being kind, gentle and a practical jokester after his 2012 death.
