Built in 1890, the Louis Auzerais House in San Jose, California. is a feast for the eyes. With a sprawling tower, eyebrow windows, ornate detailing, and a cast iron fence, this house has it all.

The home was a gift to Louis from his father, John, who built San Jose’s famed Auzerais House, one of California’s most luxurious hotels at the time. Louis went on to be successful in the paint, oil and wallpaper business.

It was designed by Theodore Lenzen and is San Jose Landmark No. 14.
