Greetings from this fun purple Italianate in Sacramento, California. Built in 1900, it’s listed on the Sacramento Register for Cultural and Historic Places.

We found a wee tidbit about an early owner. In the early 1900s, it belonged to E.M. Duchow, who seemed to be pretty impressive in the world of typography. He was listed in 1908 as President of the Typographical Union, and in 1910, he was the delegate to the 56th annual convention of International Typographers Union.
