According to the signage outside the house in Auburn, California: “The Pullen House. Built by Helen Krause in 1881. Purchased in 1886 by Alice Cross Pullen and Samuel Pullen, a teacher, Auburn attorney and civic leader.

Owned by the Pullen family until 1975, when it was purchased by Wendell Robie. Used as offices for Heart Federal Savings & Loan, then converted into a restaurant. Purchased and restored by Western Processors in 1992.”
And it all came back full circle — the former home to an attorney once again is a law office.
