Happy Won’t Look Wednesday from the spectacular Sarah Kendall house in Newport, Rhode Island.

Built in 1871 for the wife of a wealthy shipping merchant, the Sarah Kendall House is now a bed and breakfast featuring a panoramic view of the Newport waterfront from its 50-foot-tall tower sitting room.

It’s in the city’s historic Point section and directly across the street from the Hunter House and the Newport Harbor.
