Built in 1930, this old Cider Mill is on the grounds of Longfellow’s Wayside Inn.

It was believed to have been constructed by automaker Henry Ford, who owned the Wayside Inn at the time. He built it to process the apples that grew extensively in the orchards there, although there is no proof it was ever used for that purpose.

According to the Wayside Inn’s website, however, a more recent study of the building’s construction materials suggests it may have been relocated from a northern New England town.

The little cutie is in pretty rough shape, though, and is currently used for storage. The Inn’s annual Cider Fest fundraisers have been raising money to eventually repair or replace the building.
