So, one thing that’s a bummer: We haven’t quite figured out a good way to get information on random historic homes in Sacramento, California unless the house or its residents were somehow very prominent.

That is, unless my mom wants to pay $150 on the California Historic Research Information System, which is how much the state charges to get historic information on one house.
