The lovely Horatio Moody House is located in the historic Summer Street area of Kennebunk, Maine.

Built in 1866, the house has five bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, 3,844 square feet on more than two acres of manicured land.

In my research, I actually found the blog of the person who bought the house, and it wound up being a ginormous fixer upper. And the owner said it’s also reportedly haunted.

Sadly, the blog hasn’t been updated for a while, so I don’t know how her family wound up faring with it.

Interior photos from the previous real estate listing (look up 39 Summer St.) can still be viewed, and suffice it to say, I could definitely see myself living here. There’s even a gazebo in the back yard.
