Built by Oliver W. Gardner in 1840, this house was one of two in this area of Winchester, Mass., but the only one still standing.
Its striking steep gables are adorned and gingerbread house-like detailing are repeated in smaller scale on the front door overhang.

With three bedrooms, five bathrooms and 1840 square feet, the O.W. Gardner House last sold in 1992 for $257,500. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

There was a bunch of street work happening right in front of the house, so this was the best we could do at getting a facade shot.
